What this site collects

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count page views. It sets cookies in your browser and reports your approximate location (derived from your IP address, not stored by me), your device and browser, which pages you opened, and where you arrived from.

I use it to see which writing is worth continuing, and nothing else. I do not have, and do not want, a way to tie a page view to a person.

To opt out: block analytics in your browser or an extension, or use Google's opt-out add-on. The site works identically either way. Analytics only loads on timurista.ai, so local and preview builds never report anything.

Typefaces load from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Requesting a file means your IP address reaches Google, the same as any other resource your browser fetches. No cookies are set for this.

If you describe a workload and run the teardown, that text is sent to my server and forwarded to OpenRouter, which runs it through a Claude model and returns an estimate. It is processed to answer you and is not stored on my side: nothing about the request is written to a database or a log I keep.

Treat it like any other text box on the internet. Do not paste anything confidential, including customer data, internal pricing you are not free to share, or credentials. A short, generic description gets you the same answer.

The fit-check form runs on TendForm, which is my own product. What you enter there is stored in TendForm so I can read and reply to it.

This site also exposes contact and newsletter endpoints. If you send something through one, it stores what you submitted along with your IP address, your browser's user-agent string and a timestamp, in Cloudflare KV storage that only I can read.

Email to [email protected] lands in an ordinary mailbox and is kept like ordinary correspondence.

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes requests and keeps its own operational logs, including IP addresses, to serve pages and absorb abuse. That happens for every visit, analytics or not.

Analytics data follows Google's retention settings for the property. Anything you send through a form is kept until I delete it, which I do when it is no longer useful.

You can ask me to delete what you sent, or to tell you what I hold, by emailing [email protected]. I will do it, and I will not ask why.
